Mid-Level Java Developer
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• US Citizenship required. Must also be capable of obtaining an IT-II clearance.
• Bachelors Degree (computer science, information systems major preferred.) required or additional
years of development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proven ability to analyze and design applications using an object oriented approach required.
• 4-6 years experience in object oriented software development required.
• 4+ years experience developing Java and J2EE applications required.
• Experience with jdbc, Struts (or Spring), iBatis/Hibernate/TopLink required.
• Proven ability to analyze and design applications using an object oriented approach required.
• Experience with software configuration management tools.
• Experience with testing tools, unit and integration test scripting and testing methodologies.
• Experience using an Integrated Development Environment (e.g., Eclipse, Visual Studio).
• Ability to consistently apply quality and security standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
• Experience with web services and SOA framework desired.
• Experience using UML diagrams in the design process desired.
• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), smart card, or biometric technologies is a plus.
Candidate will participate in all levels of software design, development and maintenance in support of Card Technology and Information Services Division projects using J2EE architecture and Object Oriented Design principles.
